Site Manager #
As a site manager for Afterschool Cornucopia, you will manage the on-campus operation of our afterschool classes. While helping us supervise our program, you will have the opportunity to participate in a leadership role and help shape the program.
A shift generally consists of: Leading the site staff in the pickup of students, taking roll, supervising and providing assistance to our classes, and leading after-class drop-off/pick-up.
Site managers are additionally responsible for coordinating with the school and helping to plan our program.
Job Requirements: #
- Diligence and attention to detail. Keeping track of our students is imperative to the safe and successful operation of our program.
- A positive attitude and good temper. Misbehaving children can be stressful. It’s important our staff keep their cool under pressure.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor. Shy or unhappy children sometimes need extra attention. It’s important our staff are able to make students feel comfortable communicating with us.
- Punctuality is a must. We operate on a tight schedule and tardiness can severely impact our operations.
Shifts run from 3:00–4:30 most days, and 1:30–3:00 on Wednesdays (1:30–4:15 at El Marino).
Shifts may occasionally go 10–15 minutes longer depending upon circumstances.
